Central County United Way benefits from Hemet Food Truck Festival

So. Cal Caribbean Food bring their curried lamb, beef and chicken to visitors of the 2018 Hemet Food Truck Festival, April 7.

Hundreds of Hemet San Jacinto residents strolled up and down the streets of downtown Hemet smelling and tasting fine specialty food dishes offered by seven popular food trucks from Los Angeles and Riverside County at the annual Hemet Food Truck Festival Saturday, April 7.

The food trucks rumbled in and set up in the parking lots between Carmelita and Harvard streets on the south side of the busy Florida Avenue about 3 p.m. Soon the smells of frying tri-tip, catfish, deep-fried shrimp, bacon, french fries, tacos, taquitos and cheese filled the air, whetting appetites.
