Suspect in Perris wounded in an officer-involved shooting

PERRIS – A man suffered non-life threatening injuries in a deputy-involved shooting in Perris, a sheriff's sergeant said today.

Perris police officers dispatched at 9:20 p.m. Friday to a call of a family disturbance at a home in the 1100 block of Camino Del Sol said they arrived at the location and found a man holding a gun, said Sgt. Chris Williams of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
