Local car enthusiasts hit the road for Goodguys Del Mar Nationals

John Brown, a retired Marine who now lives in Temecula showed his family project, a 1939 Ford Coupe after a two-year project with help from his children Johnny of Temecula Valley High School and Leah from Temecula Middle School.

Southern California is unquestionably the cradle of hot rodding and arguably still has the highest number of hot rods, customs and classic vehicles per capita of anywhere in the country. It's not a big surprise, then, that the Goodguys 18th Meguiar's Del Mar Nationals had another successful year combining cool cars, ocean views and sunny springtime SoCal weather.
