Runners honoring fallen veterans make stop in Temecula

Participants in a run across the country to honor fallen veterans made a stop at the Temecula Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4089 Tuesday, April 10, where they were greeted by smiling faces, food and drinks.

The runners were participating in America's Run For The Fallen, a cross-country event that started April 7 at Fort Irwin National Training Center in San Bernardino County and will end later this year at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia

The purpose of the run is to bring attention to and honor all soldiers who died during the War on Terror beginning with those who were on the USS...
