High Country 4-H attends Riverside County 4-H Presentation Day

Last updated 4/23/2018 at 2:14am

Members of High Country 4-H put on skits for visitors during the annual presentation day.

The 4-H county presentation day was very fun and educational. The presentations were separated into tents or buildings and consisted of educational displays, illustrated talks and impromptus on complicated topics such as how much mutual respect pertains to the 4-H organization.

Hayden Boone of the High Country 4-H presents his display about archery for guests at the annual presentation day.

There was a barbecue put on by Troy Muller of Moreno Valley. The meal tickets purchased helped raise money for the 4-H summer camp. The golf tournament was held the same day. The price of the games of golf also went to help fund the 2018 summer camp.

Other activities included a fashion review, skits put on by 4-H members, a silent auction and bounce house for the children. The event was held at the Golden Era golf course in San Jacinto.

I enjoyed the presentation day, and I was very proud of myself, scoring 36 points and a gold medal for my educational display. My display was about archery and why I love it and how much its helped people for thousands of years.
