Improvements continue at the Antelope-Menifee Rural Center

MENIFEE – Every evening a group of young people gather at their special meeting place. They pay no rent, utilities or usage fee.

Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, Girl Scouts and 4-H Club all call the Antelope-Menifee Rural Center their home. There is also a new group at the center called "Skills Matter" that teaches young people the proper use of hand tools for making repairs, etc.

The building has served as a free-use community center since 1972. Located on Haun Road, just north of Garbani Road, it sits on land that was donated by Chester Morrison, an early resident of Menifee. Morri...
