Riverside County sheriff's deputies arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of DUI after he crashed his car into a center median and sign in Wildomar early Friday morning.

Gabriel Ignac Jimenez-Ramirez, of Wildomar, was arrested on one misdemeanor count of driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher and a felony count of violating state parole. He was booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center in French Valley and remained there later in the day with no bail set, jail records show.

Shortly before 3 a.m., authorities went to Clinton Keith Road and the Interstate 15 overpass after receiving a report of the single-vehicle crash.

Jimenez-Ramirez, the only person in the car, was uninjured, officials say.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have information about the crash to call 951-245-3300.
