Chaparral Lady Pumas find success on lacrosse fields

The Chaparral High School girls' lacrosse team (pictured here against Temecula Valley) are currently 12-4 overall and are sitting atop the Southwestern League standings at 6-1 with one final game to go this season.

The past two years have been quite successful for the Chaparral High School girls' lacrosse program and this year the varsity team is having one of the best season's ever in their five-year history. Currently, under Head Coach Pat Mawhinney, Chaparral is 12-4 overall and have been playing some very strong competition. The Lady Pumas are sitting on top of the Southwestern League standings at 6-1 and can claim their first ever league title this week with a final win over Great Oak (5-1), who they fell victim to earlier this season in an 11-7 loss.
