Dangers of drunk driving emphasized during 'Every 15 Minutes'

Two cars sat smashed together, sirens blared and emergency first responders appeared on Murrieta Mesa's football field last week for a staged crash as hundreds of students watched from the bleachers.

The mock collision, put together as part of the Every 15 Minutes Program, was intended to remind students of the dangerous consequences of drinking and using drugs, especially before getting behind the wheel of a vehicle.
