Home prices climb countywide

RIVERSIDE – The median price of a single-family home in Riverside County edged higher last month, while sales of existing homes surged, according to the California Association of Realtors.

The median home price countywide in March was $398,000, compared to $396,250 in February, representing a roughly half percent increase, according to the association.

On a year-over-year level, the price was about 6 percent higher; in March 2017, the median price of an existing single-family dwelling was $375,000, according to the association’s data.
