TEMECULA - The tenth installment of the Southwestern League's high school baseball triple header took place at the Diamond in Lake Elsinore Wednesday, May 2, with no let down on excitement as the race for the playoffs stayed heated.

Game one on the day pitted the Vista Murrieta Broncos against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears, who have been the league front-runner all season. Temecula Valley (21-5, 10-3) dropped their first game of league to Murrieta Valley the week before but bounced back to claim the final game of that series, hoping to ride that momentum into the game at Storm stadium....
