Wildomar community meeting discusses Bundy Canyon Road expansion

Residents pack city hall to look at the design for a planned expansion of Bundy Canyon Road.

Residents packed Wildomar City Hall on Tuesday, May 1, to learn more about the expansion of a major roadway connecting Interstate 15 and Interstate 215 and what that's going to look like.

Bundy Canyon Road in Wildomar is currently two lanes, but the city is working on expanding the roadway to four lanes from Cherry Street to the edge of the city at Sunset Avenue.

In addition to the extra lanes, the project will add signals where Bundy Canyon intersects with Sellers Road, Monte Vista Drive and Oak Circle Road. It will also modify an existing traffic signal at The Farm Road.

This meeting was a farce. To start with 30 or so residents is not a packed meeting. Details about how the $13 million shortfall will be addressed was not discussed. Also phasing this project to rely on a local developer with no money is a bad idea. Got to wonder why the city also had two meetings for one town, are the folks out at the Farm more special than everyone else or are they a part of wildoslavia like the other 36,000 citizens.
