'Dear Elizabeth' play in letters performed at Hemet DVAC

Actors Gina Kraut and Christopher Morse from the Idyllwild Stratford Players took to the Diamond Valley Arts Center stage in Hemet to perform a play in letters from poets Elizabeth Bishop and Robert Lowell called "Dear Elizabeth" to the delight of the audience Saturday, May 12.

"Dear Elizabeth," written by Sarah Ruhl, was superbly performed by the two actors, supported by Sherry Daubach in various roles. The play was enhanced by musical pieces played by pianist Ed Hansen, an Idyllwild neighbor of the Stratford Players' director Marsha Kennedy.
