Chaparral students learn about the dangers of intoxicated driving with 'Every 15 Minutes'

Every four years Chaparral High School hosts Every 15 Minutes, a program designed to inform students on the risks of driving under the influence.

Students at Chaparral High School discovered the dangers of driving under the influence with an "Every 15 Minutes" presentation held May 1.

The students were presented with a real-life car accident scenario involving an intoxicated teen driver, who didn't take into consideration the consequences of drinking or using drugs before getting behind the wheel of the vehicle.

The bleachers at the school's athletic field were full to the brim with students, from sophomores to seniors, who witnessed the horrors of the mock crash which took several lives and resulted in the role-playing driver being...
