Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Education Foundation launches first craft beer festival plans

Showing off one of the craft beer brews made by Garage Brewing Co., the founding brewery sponsor of the "Rooted in Nature Craft Brew Festival" planned at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve, are Santa Rosa Plateau Education Foundation volunteers. The festival's launch party was held May 19 at the visitor's center.

The launch party for the planned first craft beer festival in southwest Riverside County brought almost 200 residents, city officials and craft beer brewers to the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve visitors center in Murrieta Saturday, May 19.

The "Rooted in Nature Craft Brew Festival" launch party not only introduced some of the area's finest craft brewers and their beers, but also kicked off the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve's planned summer music concerts and the area's first craft brew festival of 2019 with all proceeds donated to the reserve's Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Educ...

With plans to bring this event down into the valley in order to increase the size of the venue, to Marna O'Brien Park in Wildomar, one has to wonder if it will carry the atmosphere as staying up on the plateau. Surrounded by trees and nature vs surrounded by a mowed field of weeds, which would you prefer. Maybe there should be a pot sampling booth so people can pretend their still up on the plateau.
