Last updated 5/25/2018 at 2:32pm

A fire scorched the attic of a Wildomar home on Friday, May 25, but no one was injured, fire officials say.

The blaze was reported about 12:53 p.m. at a home in the 24000 block of Olive Street, said spokeswoman Tawny Cabral of the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

She said the fire was contained about 1:35 p.m. but that firefighters would remain in the area for another hour and a half for "salvage and overhaul."

Damage estimates weren't available and the cause of the fire remained under investigation Friday afternoon.
