Supervisors approve Lakeland Village GPA, rezone, plot plan

A proposed general plan amendment, rezone, and plot plan for a 2-acre parcel in the Lakeland Village area has been approved by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.

The May 22 Board of Supervisors meeting included a 5-0 vote approving the change in land use designation from Medium Density Residential (MDR) to Commercial Retail (CR) and in zoning from General Commercial (G-1/C-P) and Watercourse, Watershed and Conservation Area (W-1) to General Commercial (G-1/C-P) only. The plot plan will allow for a 9,100 square foot retail store with 46 parking spaces and a detention basin.
