Supervisors renew fire department dispatch and communication agreement with Pechanga

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors renewed a cooperative agreement in which the Riverside County Fire Department provides dispatch and communication services for the Pechanga fire department.

A 5-0 board of supervisors vote May 22, approved the agreement which covers the period from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2020. The Pechanga band of Luiseno Indians will cover the contract costs, which will be based on the number of reservation fire stations and jurisdictional calls, and the county estimates the reimbursement for fiscal year 2018-2019 to be $172,026.
