Menifee council considers options in first meeting since Mayor Neil Winter's death

Menifee city council members Tuesday, June 5, mourned the loss of Mayor Neil Winter while they mulled their options for filling his seat at their first meeting since his sudden death, May 19.

Mayor Pro Tem Lesa Sobek – who is tasked with taking over mayoral responsibilities in Winter's absence – said it's been a "hard couple of weeks" for the council.
