Several area athletes set to compete at World's Largest Rodeo in July

The local High School Rodeo District Eight section will be sending seven athletes to compete at the World's Largest Rodeo in Rock Springs, Wyoming, next month, which is a huge accomplishment. Competitors from around the state just completed a hot week in Bishop with four rounds of competition to determine the top four riders in each event to represent the National California State Team. Qualifiers will now get ready to travel with their State teammates to compete at the 70th annual National High School Finals Rodeo.
