Winners announced for 18th annual Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival

Temecula hosts the 18th annual Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival and Contest, June 8-10, choosing these six winners for their chalk art designs, including Caleigh Steele for Best of Show, Keely Thomas for Best Youth 12 and Under, Olivia Thompson for Best Teen 13-18, Noah Dentith for Best Depiction of the theme "Temecula Safe," Jacinda Tagget for Best Black and White and Vance McCoy for Commissioner's Choice.

TEMECULA ─ Temecula hosted the 18th annual Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 8, 9-10. The event featured exhibits from 48 fine artists in all mediums under festival tents, and 18 chalk painters creating magnificent masterpieces on the streets of Old Town Temecula.

During the three-day event, visitors shopped, viewed the creation of artworks and enjoyed live music. The Kid Zone included free activities such as face painting, balloon art, crafts, Art in Motion and Youth Art Workshops.
