Former Bronco, current USC track star Michael Norman to turn Pro

Former Vista Murrieta standout and current USC sophomore Michael Norman seen here with an earlier record, stopped the clock in an NCAA-record 43.61 seconds, the fastest time in the world this year and the No. 6 time all time for the 400m.

It is hard to believe that just two short years ago Vista Murrieta's Michael Norman was named Gatorade's National Player of the Year in Track and Field for the second consecutive year, graduated from high school and then went on his way to contend for the U.S. Olympic team, barely missing the cut.

Norman, who is currently competing in the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championships, is also the newly crowned collegiate record holder in the 400m for USC and announced Saturday, June 23, that he is turning professional.
