Three minute 'safety bags' delivered to Temecula residents

Volunteers prepare bags with an emergency preparedness pamphlet at Great Oak High School before distributing the bags at Temecula residents homes, June 23. The bags are presented through a collaboration with Helping Hands and the city of Temecula for the city's 2018 theme of "TemeculaSAFE".

The Temecula Valley Helping Hands organization collaborated with the city of Temecula to deliver bright red three minute safety bags with the newsletter inside to Temecula residents in order to encourage informed preparation in case of an emergency.

The special edition newsletter from the city had emergency preparedness information as well safety tips from local utility companies and the Temecula Valley Hospital. It addressed a variety of subjects, from learning the warning signs of a stroke, to knowing what should be put in different emergency kits.
