Paranormal celebration appears at Anza Days 2018

Little dancers are excited by the music at the Anza Days party in the park after the parade Saturday, June 30.

The 86th annual Anza Lions Club Anza Days festivities were an entertaining, exciting and colorful combination of events put on by civic organizations and a great number of volunteers.

The festivities began Friday, June 29, with the Anza Community Hall's barbecue dinner presided over by barbecue master Danny Stone and a slew of willing helpers. The slow-cooked beef brisket, corn, rolls and more were such a hit with the crowd that the event sold out after only an hour. Those lucky enough to partake in the dinner left satisfied.
