Campbell receives special award, first place in SD County Fair's Design in Wood contest; Giberson also has first-place entry

Temecula woodworker Pete Campbell received both first place from the category judges and a special award from the San Diego Woodturners for one of his entries in the San Diego County Fair’s Design in Wood competition.

The winning sculpture from cocobolo wood that Campbell called “Box” includes small round boxes which actually resembles a tower with intermittent spheres and discs, a spire on top and rings on the bottom.
