Star-Spangled Fourth of July Parade saunters down Old Town Front Street

Hot, steamy weather didn't keep thousands of residents and visitors to Temecula from celebrating the nation's birthday at the Star-Spangled Fourth of July Parade last week.

With nearly 40 percent humidity and temperatures hovering around the 90 degree mark, parade-goers beat the heat with cool drinks and hats or umbrellas for shade as they converged upon Old Town Front Street to enjoy the parade featuring floats, marching bands and a plethora of local businesses and political figures.

After the parade ended, festival-goers made their way to Ronald Reagan Sports Park for the Fourth of July...
