Border Patrol arrests driver found with duffel bag packed with meth

SAN DIEGO – US Border Patrol agents arrested a man after he was caught with a duffel bag full of methamphetamine in his pickup truck on Interstate 15, officials announced July 14.

Agents patrolling northbound I-15 on Thursday, July 12, decided to check the license plate of a red Chevrolet Silverado after observing “unusual and suspicious driving behavior,'' Border Patrol Agent Eduardo Olmos said in a news release. Records indicated the truck had been stopped previously for drug and human smuggling, and agents pulled the driver over.
