The ladies of the Anza Quilt Club are raffling off their handcrafted and colorful Opportunity Quilt. The drawing will be held in December.

The Anza Quilt club is a group of women who come together to share their passion for quilting. For the last few years they have created a quilt to raffle off to raise funds to give back to the community. The Anza Community Hall, the Anza Scholarship Fund and the Little Red School House have all been recipients of their efforts. They also donate patriotic quilts to the Veterans of Foreign Wars post  to honor Anza's local veterans.

At this time, the club is just finishing up their latest project, making children's quilts for the Ronald McDonald house at the Loma Linda Hospital.

Tickets for the Opportunity Quilt raffle may be purchased by contacting Pat Sprint at (951)763-0767. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

The Anza Quilt Club meets 9:30 a.m. at the Shepherd of the Valley Church in Anza on the first and third Tuesday of the month.
