Temecula Valley Elks No. 2801 celebrate with Flag Day ceremony

The Temecula Valley Elks No. 2801 and Boy Scout Troop 384 celebrate Flag Day at the lodge with a traditional Flag Day Service, reading of various flag's history and a reception.

TEMECULA – The Temecula Valley Elks No. 2801 held their annual Flag Day Service at the lodge. Boy Scout Troop 384 also participated in the ceremony by displaying the various flags used throughout the United States' history, as members of the Temecula Valley Elks read the history on each flag. Following the Flag Day Service, the Elk officers, members and spouses held a reception for those in attendance.

The Elks were the first and only order in the United States to make the observance of Flag Day mandatory. The Flag Day Service was and is colorful, instructive and inspiring. Elks began to...
