Kjersten Jeppesen art exhibition open at DVAC

Kari Robledo Howell admires one of her grandmother Kjersten Jeppesen's impressionist paintings now on display for month at the Diamond Valley Arts Center at 123 N. Harvard St. in Hemet. Howell is now Jeppesen's art collection curator.

Late artist and teacher Kjersten Jeppesen would be so proud of her granddaughter.

Granddaughter Kari Robledo Howell is now curator of grandmother Jeppesen's extensive multi-media artworks, an artist and teacher herself. Kari, a Hemet High School art teacher, was on hand at a reception Saturday, July 19, at this months' Diamond Valley Art Center's gallery exhibit "Evanescence" featuring the beautiful watercolor and mixed media paintings of Jeppesen.
