Five graduate U. S. Air Force basic military training

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas – U.S. Air Force Airman Tyler R. Paulhus, U.S. Air Force Airman Daijon V. Kirkland, U.S. Air Force Airman Diego Camarena, U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Alexis S. St. Louime and U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Barone Wyatt graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, in San Antonio, Texas.

Paulhus is the son of Patti and Ray Paulhus of Menifee and a 2017 graduate of Santa Rosa Academy in Menifee.

Kirkland is the son of Dwayne and Lakesha Kirkland of Lake Elsinore and a 2017 graduate of Temescal Canyon High School in Lake Elsinore.

Camarena is the son of Sergio Camarena and Sandra Ibarra of Murrieta and a 2017 graduate of Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta.

St. Louime is the daughter of Martin Cupid of Lake Worth, Florida, and Michelange St. Louime of Delray Beach, Florida, and niece of Kishawn Cupid of Murrieta. She is a 2016 graduate of Atlantic Community High School, in Delray Beach, Florida.

Wyatt earned distinction as an honor graduate and is the son of Richard Barone of Temecula. He is a 2017 graduate of Temecula Valley High School in Temecula.

The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate’s degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.
