Hemet Community Pantry sports a new look

It was a new day and a new look for Hemet Community Pantry Thursday, July 12, thanks to Hemet's Home Depot and teams of volunteers who worked to completely landscape the Pantry grounds at 191 Columbia St. in Hemet.

The new look given to the Community Pantry, which serves thousands of needy Hemet San Jacinto residents with food and other services, included a new flagpole, plants, walkways, an outdoor shelter, trimmed trees rubber landscaping chips, needed tools and other equipment that can be used to maintain the Pantry grounds that was bolstered by a $11,500 grant from the Home Depot Founda...
