Lake Elsinore motorcycle crash takes life of Corona man

Lake Elsinore Police said a 52-year-old Corona man died as a result of a traffic collision that happened Friday at the intersection of Temescal Canyon and Bernard Street in Lake Elsinore.

When officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department responded to the initial report of a traffic collision they discovered the motorcycle rider had collided with a commercial truck and trailer combo. Temescal Canyon between Bernard and Lake Street was closed to through traffic for approximately 6 hours.

The Lake Elsinore Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and a full investigation to determine the cause of the collision is being conducted.
