Musicians of Anza: Patricia Clarke makes sweet music with her clarinet

Musicians are a varied group. From different music genre experiences to the instruments in which they excel, these artists come in all shapes, sizes and degrees of training. As the last subject of this series on local Anza talent, Patricia Clarke is a fine example of practiced artistry. A pleasant, soft-spoken and incredibly talented performer, music is a great part of her life.

“I started playing the clarinet in the fourth grade,” she explained. “As a senior in high school, I was given the Aerion Music Award and a scholarship to Dakota Wesleyan University.”
