Mobile home owners learn about proper registration and possible tax waivers

A representative of the Housing and Community Development (HUD) arrived at Hemet’s Simpson Center to possible give some good news to almost 40 mobile home owners learning about a new state program. The meeting was called by HUD to help clear up registration and ownership problems.

Natasha Stanford, from HUD, explained to the mobile home residents attending that as many as 7,000 mobile home residents in the Hemet Valley may not have registered their mobile homes properly.
