Last updated 8/2/2018 at 2:17pm

Learn the ins and outs of burlesque dancing at Go-Go Dance Arts studio in Temecula. The unique class is small and intimate, usually only two to three people per class, and teaches the basic steps and moves of burlesque dancing. Sunny Moon Seville is the studio instructor, confidently teaching many types of dancing. Seville said it’s a great way to exercise.

“The class is mainly for beginners, it is different from a traditional workout and we work with your level,” Seville said.

Seville recommended participants bring water, wear comfortable exercise clothing, bring shoes, gloves and a camisole or night wear for the class. Along with this basic performance burlesque class, Seville offers and teaches pole, lyra loop, hammock and belly dance. She said that all of these dance styles including burlesque fall under the Go-Go Dance umbrella.

If someone is throwing a party and wants to make it special, Seville has a group of experienced dancers at her studio that can be hired to dance at the party. There are different packages to choose from depending on which style of dance for which the client is looking. She said for rates and quotes to contact [email protected]

The beginner burlesque class will be held 5-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at Go-Go Dance Arts. The studio is located at 43136 Rancho Way, Suite E, in Temecula.
