Excessive heat watch remains in effect Monday through Tuesday

SAN DIEGO – High pressure aloft will expand across southern California on Monday and Tuesday. High temperatures in the valleys,. deserts...and lowest elevations will exceed 100 degrees with temperatures in parts of the Inland Empire reaching 110 and lower deserts around 115 with well above average low temperatures. Some monsoonal moisture will return for Wednesday into next weekend with high temperatures not quite as hot.
