When 15-year-old Murrieta resident Gavin Gantt told his parents that he heard a pop in his thigh during water polo practice July 11, he couldn't have known that he would end up where he is now.
Gavin – who beat brain cancer when he was just 10 years old – is once again in a fight, this time against a MRSA infection that wreaked havoc on his body, and his mom Deanna's emotions.
