Last updated 8/9/2018 at 1:14am

Newcomers to the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley and residents will have an opportunity to learn about stores, businesses and services in the growing community, 4-7 p.m., during the Aug. 22 Business Expo at the Hemet Valley Mall.

This year the Hemet San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce will hold the Business Expo at the recently renovated Hemet Valley Mall where the mall stores will be open to greet visitors, while more than 90 other businesses, services, medical care centers and vendors will be on hand.

The air-conditioned mall, 2200 W. Florida Ave., will afford visitors the opportunity to cool off and even to pick up a few practical gifts and other free samples provided by the businesses participating.

The 2018 Hemet San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce Business Expo is free and open to the public.

The mall is anchored by JCPenney, Sears and Hobby Lobby. Restaurants and food offerings in the mall include Cali Subs, Samurai Sushi and Chilis. Specialty shops include Magic Brow, GNC Live Well and Mimi’s Silver. T-Mobile and Oh Nails offer their services. Daniels Jewelers offers fine jewelry, while Menz Trendz and Sesi Fashion bring the latest fashions to light. X’Ccent has all types of accessories for those special occasions. Plenty of benches and sit-down areas provide places for visitors to visit the many kiosks in the central walkways.
