Local students graduate University of Iowa during spring 2018 commencement

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa graduated four local students during their spring 2018 commencement ceremonies, including Barbara Okeke of Murrieta, who received a doctorate in human toxicology; Matthew Palmer of Murrieta, who received a bachelor’s degree in ethics and public policy and bachelor’s degree in political science; Hallee Haygood of Temecula, who also received a bachelor’s degree in ethics and public policy and a bachelor’s degree in political science and Christian McConnell of Temecula, who received a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing.
