AEC steps up their game during wildfire and power outage crisis

What the Anza Electric Cooperative, in conjunction with Southern California Edison, has accomplished in the last couple of weeks is nothing short of astounding.

When the Cranston Fire took off out of control Wednesday, July 25, the SCE transmission lines that bring power to the Cooperative's small grid were damaged. The power went out in the small mountain communities serviced by the AEC, leaving about 4,000 people without electricity to run their homes and wells.

AEC rallied immediately and began the process of returning power to residents' homes as soon as possible.
