Temecula Valley Hospital receives Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award

TEMECULA – Temecula Valley Hospital has received the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines – Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence. It is the second year in a row the hospital has achieved this honor.

Another thing TVH could do if they wanted to kick their cardiology program up a major notch from their already high perch is to join the state-of-the-art computerized inter-connectivity system in which the world renowned Scripps cardiology program already participates. Scripps has on board such scientific luminaries as Dr. Eric Topol, among others. (If you have Amazon Echo, or access to Wikipedia, you may want to check out Dr. Topol's creds.) TVH is impressive, but there's always room to grow.

In my own opinion (based on many things I've read, and on the excellent emergency room care received by a family member) TVH is the best hospital of the four in the SWRC area. I'm personally quite aware of experiences of emergency room care at two of the remaining facilities, and well... Anyway, in regard to the fourth hospital, I've read it is, or will soon be, a doctor training facility. I guess even doctors have to learn somewhere. But, I think I'll stick with TVH.
