Off-roaders meet at the 'Off Road Nights Festival' at the Promenade mall

A death-defying member of the Metal Mulisha Fitz Army freestyle motocross team flies high in the air above the Macy's Department Store rooftop at the Promenade Temecula doing a midair stunt during the Aug. 4 Off Road Nights Festival in Temecula.

Off-road racing enthusiasts gathered by the thousands at the Promenade Temecula Saturday, Aug. 4, for the annual "Off Road Nights" in the parking lot outside of Macy's department store.

Method Race Wheels, key sponsors of the dirt lifestyle festival, put on a death-defying show with the daring Fitz Army Freestyle motocross demos, the 4-Wheel Parts "Car Crush," and BMX stunt show. Live music by "Big Truth" and almost 100 off-road motorsports equipment, automotive service and food vendors filled a large portion of the Macy's parking lot. A kid's zone provided many activities for the children...
