Nonprofit spotlight: Jacob's House provides comfort and support

TEMECULA – Jacob's House, a thriving nonprofit which serves families while a loved one is being treated at the hospital, was inspired out of tragedies in the Nelson family.

Board member Lisa Stergulz said that Jacob's House is like new growth on a tree springing forth a few years after a devastating fire.

"Jacob's House is a living, breathing, peaceful place, giving guests a feeling of home, love and support," she said, calling it "the house that love built."
