$150 million HUSD school bond measure to be placed before voters in November

After nearly a year of extensive interviews, surveys, school meetings and public hearings, it took only a few minutes Tuesday, July 31, for the Hemet Unified School District board of governors to give the nod to place a $150 million bond issue before the voters in November.

The $150 million bond issue will be used upgrade the district schools, improve student safety and security, upgrade vocational and career education classrooms, provide classrooms for the districts expected student enrollment growth and other needs.
