Laurent's 'Le' Coffee Shop brings a piece of France to Temecula

Laurent's sells a wide variety of authentic French pastries.

At first glance, the small building just off 4th street is perfectly unassuming. A few trees surround the modest courtyard. A dark awning, painted with a subtle French flag, acts as the only advertisement for the shop's presence. Though only a few hundred feet from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town Front Street, the area is quiet and peaceful.

Walking through the door is like stepping into another world. Laurent's "Le" Coffee Shop surges with energy. Every table is full and members of the modest staff hurry this way and that to attend to customers and fulfill catering orders that they q...

Tres bon, 'Le'! A delightful article about an apparently magnifique eatery. I took a glance at the website and noticed a nice variety of coffees... but no wines? That is even more impressive. In Temecula (as in Murrieta, for that matter) where it seems even movie theaters these days have to lubricate their cash registers with alcohol, it is so impressive to know success can arise from the 'main fare' alone.
