Hart Family Winery carries on family traditions

When Joe and Nancy Hart came to the Temecula Valley in the late 1960s with an interest in finding a great spot to plant some grapes, they couldn't have known with certainty that almost 50 years later Hart Family Winery would still be the first winery visitors see when entering Temecula Valley Wine Country.

"We were the fourth winery in the valley," Joe and Nancy's son, Jim Hart, the head winemaker at the winery, said. "None of (the others) are left, so we're the last of the originals."
