The Santa Rosa Academy team has lots of support in the stands at the Hamilton Bobcat football game Friday, Aug. 17.

The defensive line had three turnovers and over 20 tackles for loss.

Gabe Ward blocked and recovered a Santa Rosa punt, Michael Rozzo caused a fumble, Anthony Ross recovered the fumble and Michael Peters recovered another fumble.

"This was a well-deserved win that truly showed our crowd how hard the team has been working," head coach Patrick McGowan said. "It is extremely satisfying because the score was reversed from when we played Santa Rosa Academy a year ago. We lost last year 35-0, and now we won 38-6. Let's hope this is just the start of more great things to come."

The next home game is 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 31, against Temecula Preparatory School.

"Hope to see more of our supportive community there," McGowan said.
