Four arrested in Temecula at DUI/License checkpoint

TEMECULA - A stepped-up patrol effort to snare intoxicated drivers at the onset of the Labor Day Weekend in Temecula resulted in four arrests, a sergeant said on Sept. 2.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported that it pulled over 27 drivers during a “saturation patrol'' between 8 p.m. Aug. 31 and 2 a.m. Sept. 1.

Four suspected drunken drivers were arrested and six citations for other vehicle code violations were issued, according to Sgt. Joe Narciso.
