Culinary champions crowned at Oak Grove's So-Cal Chef Open

Nineteen chefs from the Temecula Valley area competed Aug. 27 for the So-Cal Chef Open's Pinnacle and People's Choice awards inside Pechanga Resort Casino's new Summit Room.

The event, which benefits Oak Grove Center, was attended by more than 850 guests, consisting of foodies as well as golfers who played earlier in the day at the 16th annual Charity Golf Tournament.

"I think attendance is great," Oak Grove Center CEO Tammy Wilson said. "We're just so thankful – 19 chefs – this means so much to Oak Grove."
